We are always looking for passionate and creative individuals to join our studio.

Our school is a small, hands-on jewelry studio based in New York, offering an intimate and inspiring environment where students explore both technical skills and artistic expression.
 

About the Role
 

We are currently looking for a Jewelry Instructor / Studio Assistant to support our classes.

This role involves working closely with students in a mixed-level class setting, including both one-day experience students and continuing course students.

Positions
 

💎 Main Instructor
This is a lead teaching role. Candidates may begin as an assistant and transition into a main instructor position.

 

💎 Studio Assistant
Support the main instructor during classes and assist students with their work. This position may lead to a main instructor role.

💎 Gurst Instructor

Specific skills include Enamel, Engraving, and advanced stone setting , 3D modeling etc.

 

Responsibilities 🔨
 

  • Support students with jewelry-making techniques and processes

  • Demonstrate proper use of tools and ensure safe studio practices

  • Assist students with their individual projects during class

  • Help maintain a clean and organized studio environment

  • Prepare materials and tools for classes as needed
     

Qualifications
 

💎 Main Instructor

  • Minimum of 6 years of jewelry-making experience

  • Advanced skills in soldering, stone setting, and wax carving

  • Teaching experience and/or a jewelry-related degree is a plus
     

💎 Studio Assistant

  • Minimum of 2 years of jewelry-making experience

  • Intermediate skills in soldering, stone setting, and wax carving

  • Willingness to learn and grow through this position

  • Friendly, responsible, and communicative

  • Strong English communication skills

  • Ability to work in a small, collaborative environment

  • Interest in a long-term working relationship

     

Schedule & Compensation 🕰
 

  • Part-time position (evening and/or weekend availability preferred)

  • Compensation based on experience

  • Trial period may apply
